Everybody welcome!
The Hampton Roads Sangha of Vajrayogini Buddhist Center is a community of spiritual friends offering the path of Kadampa Buddhism, a Mahayana Buddhist tradition. Kadampa Buddhism teaches a gentle and very practical path of self-improvement that allows us to find inner peace and happiness. It shows us how we can reduce our anger, greed, jealousy and other negative minds and develop positive qualities such as mindfulness, loving kindness, compassion, and wisdom.
What People Are Saying...
“This is just a good group of calm, genuine and intellectual people. Anyone could benefit from the discussion no matter where you’re at on your spiritual path. Come check it out. I guarantee you’ll be able to relate and apply something from Ron’s class to your everyday life.”
— Holly
“The dedication & sincerity of the teachers impressed me. Michael and Ron do an excellent job of balancing authenticity of lineage teaching with a comfortable style that makes some ideas that may be difficult to grasp more understandable.”
— Cynthia
Supporting the Center
As a non-profit organization, Vajrayogini Buddhist Center depends entirely upon the membership and donations of our local Sangha. Please support your Center and create the causes for greater peace and happiness in the community.
Teachers share their time and experience with others voluntarily. All income is used to support Center activities in DC and in Hampton Roads. No one is ever turned away from classes because of lack of funds.
